Leadership coaching

Leadership coaching

Leadership coaching supports existing or emerging leaders to become more aware and intentional with how they think, act and influence others in a professional context.

How to identify that leader might need coaching? It is when created results and outcomes do not match initial intentions and goals: in created results, in expectation management, in communication, in relationships and cooperation and other areas.

When it comes to leadership coaching we usually explore 3 levels:

  1. Internal state of the leader – what they think, feel, believe in, what are their values, standards and priorities
  2. Actions and behaviours of the leader – what they say, do and what reaction it creates in others
  3. Results that leader is responsible for – expected vs. reality, both soft and hard

If actual results and outcomes don’t match goals and expectations we then go exploring where are some blind spots, challenge existing patterns and identify what leader can change either in their mindset or behaviour to make needed impact and eventually create better results.
